About Sopme
Sopme was created two men named Paul Nicholson and Michael K. Clements
A few years back, Michael K. Clements saw a fad word being thrown about Facepunch Studios' forums; it was Sopme. Michael ended up searching the internets and found that Sopme.com was free to purchase. To find a five letter domain name that wasn't complete jibberish and available to buy was too good to pass up.
Having absolutely nothing of true value to put on Sopme.com, he made it into his own portfolio type site which showcased some of his 2D drawings and 3D charcter art.
Skip forward a few years to where the Sopme (you know now) creators, Paul Nicholson and Michael K. Clements, worked together.
Wanting to create an aggregate website, Paul invited Michael to help take on this beast of a project. Michael, wanting to use Sopme.com for something other than portfolio work, offered the Sopme domain for the project.
About Paul
Paul is just a developer. Nothing of interest really!!!
About Michael
Michael started using Photoshop at his early teens when he was interested in the game modifcation scene. Once he learned how to get involved in the community by creating 3D enviroments for the Quake 3 engine, he started to learn how to create custom textures for his maps.
By trial and error he gradually learned more useful techniques and then started to get himself involved in Web Design. This prompted him to start learning HTML & CSS as an additional skill to aide his creations become fully functional websites.
PHWcomics (Now PHWonline) was his first major community website which was originally based on comics made using Garry's Mod. Lit Fuse Films was the second major website he helped design and lay out that became quite popular due to it's hit Source engine Machinima videos. Both websites helped Michael with his understanding of HTML & CSS and helped shape Sopme into what it is today.
Now currently Michael is the Lead Graphic Designer at Orchid Software and works on Sopme in his spare time. His aim for Sopme was to be up to date in the latest web technology such as HTML5 & CSS3 and also try to make it his third major website that would over-shadow his previous work.
